No condom is the best. Nothing compares to the feeling. But if one is required, usually the standard (Trojan, non-ribbed) ones work well - cheap and no gimmickry. I also can't stand the smell of that spermicide - ugh, but I think I have it on there just to be sure.

I don't care for Trojans....the smell funky (very rubbery) and also feel thick.
I like the beyond seven although sometimes they feel tight at the base.
I am trying to get my wife on the pill, Japanese people don't believe in them....the younger generation is starting too...but my age group 30+ don't.
Durex are good too....just the beyond seven I like as well and are usually on sale with a $1off coupon so it works out. I wish they carried packs bigger than 18qty.
As far as texture the women I have been with usually don't care either way....for me I can feel more with a studded or ribbed deal.

Well, of course I agree with you on STDs, but fortunately that is something my girlfriend and I don't have to worry about.
The pill is 99.99% effective when used properly. That means that you CAN NOT miss taking it by more than 4 hours.
If a girl gets pregnant while she is on the pill, 99% of the time it is because she took it improperly.. whether she admits it or not.
When I had to, it was Trojan silk, most of the time, no rubbers, you just can't beat the feelings.
Heh. Okay. I speak from experience - CONDOMS ARE EVIL. Get the chick on the pill ASAP. I had a condom bust the first time I used one - she did not like that. And they feel like latex/sheepskin/whatever - not woman. 2 months condom free and it's the best time of my life. She also didn't enjoy it at all with a condom and that damn near got me cut off. Pill + cycle counting + low sperm count from doing it so frickin' much + Her partially defective reproductive organs (Genetic crap - 80% chance a pregnancy won't take) +pulling out = mathematically insignificant chance of producing child. Less than 0.1% by my math and one in a thousand pokes is quite awesome in my opinion and should last us until long after we're both out of high school, even if we did it once a day. Do the math yourself and figure out if it's worth the risk to you.
The pill is all you need to worry about. Why bother with all those other things?

INCORRECT!!! The pill is NOT 99.9%, even the drug companies own studies don't say 99.9%
Most of the pill studies are funded by who... thats right the people that make the pills. Do you believe what Phillips Morris says about cigs? then why would you believe what a one sided study for pills says. Ther have been a couple INDEPENDENT pill studies that show a yonger the wqomen is the lower the % is, as younger women has different levels of hormones in their system and the pill doe snot always work. The studies have shopwn women in their late teens to late 20's are on;y in the 80% range. And that is if they follow the directions 100%.
The studies that show the pill in the mid 90's has women that are on average in their 30's to 40's.
And again the pill does NOTHING for stds.
