What's the best team building excercise you've had at work?

Working together on a project that we all wanted to get done because we were all treated right and knew we'd be compensated fairly. Team building "exercises" are a load of crap though and annoy the hell out of me.

Agreed. Team projects do a lot more then any stupid little class will.

but we did go to the IMAX in Birmingham once, it was neato
 
One of the things we had to do:

We were put into groups of four and had to make a paper airplane fly the farthest. We won but were then disqualified after they found white-out in the front tip of our plane. Oops.
 
All of the folks in IT get together for public floggings of the sales people who promise things to our customers that can't simply be done without a major rewrite, if at all.

I worked for Price Club (now bought out and called Costco) back in the late 80's
After inventory the managers all kicked in and bought a couple kegs and had a kegger party out in the parking lot.

Boy, you cant do that anymore 🙁
 
What kind of hippy love-in body oil company do you work at that has team building exercises? Our team building consists of "Work or you're fired".
