What's the best sprint fone?

Instead of talking up Sprint or talking trash like everyone else, I'll just answer your question. I find that the Sanyo phones get the best reception. I just got the new VM4500, and it's incredible. GREAT signal. I have many particular places where my phone gets signal now whereas it didn't before. I used to have an A500, and the signal on it was decent, but not great.

Liek everyone else has said, give it a shot for awhile. Sprint recently changed their trial time from 14 days (like most carriers) to 30 days. That will give you plenty of time to decide if you like the service or not. If you don't, bring it back. It's really simple. I know it's not as easy as just getting a phone and living with it, but it's the way to get the best results and not get stuck with service you don't like for a long time.

My family and I have gone through about 6 phones with Sprint. Yes, they have a horrible reputation because a lot of their past phones got horrible reception. The A460 might have been the worst phone ever, but it was also one of the most popular because of its looks. Too bad you coudln't make a call with it.

A good selection of their new phones however have great reception. I've personally used a Sanyo 8100, 5300, Samsung A500, A620, and the new Toshiba VM4050. Out of those, the 8100, 5300, A620, and VM4050 all had excellent reception. In Davis I got better reception then my friends with other carriers. The A500 is a cool phone, but it's sketchy at times.

Lastly, but your phone from Costco. You get a sweet cell phone case (usually a body glove), an earbud, and a travel/car charger for free, not to mention the price of the phone is already cheaper then sprint stores. And take advantage of their incredible return policy while your at it
