Currently looking at an AMD 761 or SiS735 board. I'd like a Via KT266a, but probly don't want to wait 2 months to get my hands on one. Has any one used an ECS K7S5A? The price is hard to beat and the SiS735 is supposed to be one of the best DDR chip sets. They other board I was looking at was the EPoX 8k7a. How do these boards compair?

Go for the mobo tht got AMD 761 on it. This chipset perform better than the VIA KT266 & AliMagik. And of coz ECS mobo is cheap and it runs DDR. The Epox 8K7A is a SDR mobo w/ VIA 133A chipset.

If u wan DDR...ECS, Asus A7M266, MSI K7T-Master
non DDR...Epox 8K7A, Asus A7V133, Abit KT7A.

I would suggest the ABIT KG7 RAID.

Its a little pricey, but well worth it in my view.

If you need 4 DIMMS it is an excellent choice, I can't fault it.

I have it working without a single problem.
