This will be my first smartphone and with all the choices out there, I'm overwhelmed.
Not sure if this makes a difference, butI've been with T-mobile for 6+ years with their family plan and I'm happy with their service.

Save up an extra $30-50 and get a Moto G. Very good phone for the price.
Agree with Swappa but why the Nexus 4? The battery on that thing was a dog at launch, and with two years' power cycles on it... yikes.If you are considering used too I would get a Nexus 4 off of swappa:

Maybe you're thinking of the L9? Looks like the L90 does have it.The L90 can be had for $100 and that's a great deal but no LTE.
