what's the best ! shaving cream and after shave cream

My face really sensitive has those red patches so i need something that works better than standard edge or gillete gel or cream

Consider an electric razor. You'll save a lot of money over the years if you don't have to buy new razor blades and shaving cream. The latest electrics like the norelco's give a very close shave.

I usually don't use shaving cream 😉

If I do, I use that little bottle of Gillette shaving cream that Gillette sent to me for my 18th birthday - over a year ago. I don't shave my peach fuzz much, usually once a week 😉

Never have gotten a close shave without burn from an electric.
I can shave very close with standard soap foam and a fresh Mach3.

The best I've used is either Shaving Soap or Melaleuca Essentials. Both keep your face nice and lubed even after repeated strokes of the razor.

kind of expensive, but the best shave has to be Kiehl's Flying Blue Squadron. The only physical store that sells it is Barney's I believe. it is expensive, but well damn worth it.

i tried several times to adjust to electric, just cant do it. too much irritation and not close shave. my hairs grows quickly

Don't waste your money on the MACH 3 Turbo. I've tried them and they are no better than the regular MACH 3 blades. The TURBO blades are a big marketing scam IMHO.

I use something from a store called Burt's Bees, it's a beeswax soap you use with a brush. Works great

I use a mach 3 regular with gillette shaving cream and aveda aftershave that my gf got me....its a nice combo, i think

I am lazy. I use a Mach 3 and bar soap while I am taking a shower.

i hear nivea is really good... though, i don't shave that oven, and the mach 3 takes care of any razor burn 🙂

I use skintimate ladies shave gel.. its much better than the guys gel and leaves your face smelling nice.

That's some great stuff. I believe that Saks Fifth Avenue also sells it as well as their online store.

When I need a close shave I use a straight razor and to avoid redness and burns, I use rum soap. It's a PITA tho. You have to jam a square bar into a round cup(shows how much I learned in kindergarten) and then whip it up to a lather to slap on your face. Whip and slap a few times. Shave. Then you have to wash your face thoroughly with a good soap because you smell like you've been drinking.
