Hello,

I have to replace two MATX motherboards in my systems. I have been looking online and I can't find a place I really like to order from. I haven't done business w/ newegg in over a year w/ good reason and also here they have been having problems of late w/ motherboards. I don't like Mwave and I read on Directron that they open the retail box first before sending. I don't want anything touched!! IS there any other place that has the latest products and has a good track record w/ gettings parts that work?

Also another question, is it far to assume that if someone goes to a company and buys 2 of the same product that they would get 2 new products vs 2 products that were returned and then sold again???

Thank you!

im not sure why you dont like mwave or newegg (they are both very reputable)

ive also bought lots of pc parts from tcwo.com and the stuff has always arrived brand new (not opened)
plus they usually ship the same day :)

Try ebuyer I guess. Man, Newegg has been very good to me. Their RMA policy is tops. Remember Vendors don't have problems with motherboards, Manufacturers do.

I dunno, maybe try Zipzoomfly (or whatever Googlegear is calling itself now) but I sure haven't had any trouble with Newegg's motherboards lately (or ever for that matter). I've also had fine luck with Mwave. I've been buying from Mwave and Newegg consistantly for years now and don't have any real complaints about either.

Regarding newegg: Around this time last year, I tried to do 2 orders w/ newegg. Both orders being over $600. Both times I ordered the parts, a box that was 4 foot wide, 3 foot high and 3 foot long would come to my house. I opened both boxes only to find that 3/4ths of the box was filled w/ packaging foam of some type. the other 1/4 was dead space. I was so pissed that I sent back both boxes the very same day after i yelled at newegg for the poor packing. Ever since then I have oredered from them about 8 times however those 8 times have always been either a processor, or memory, or a MATX case. Something i know is already sealed and can't get wrecked during the shipping in the event that they didn't pack it good. Ordering 2 motherboards from them (even though MATX motherboards are not as in demand as full ATX boards) I just don't trust newegg in that regard. I fear that I might get bad parts on purpose because I had to send back both orders last year.
