My dad needs a new PDA after losing his Palm V (and laptop, suits, etc) to September 11. He wants something like the Kyocera 6035, a cellphone that also has the palm OS and a touch screen. Any suggestions? Would it be better to go with like a Palm V and a wireless modem and get a seperate cellphone or.....? anyways, I'd appriciate any info, his business is paying so price isnt so much of an issue, thanks,

Tristan

Go cheap for now. The future is wireless and expect big changes by June or July. Nothing you buy now will be compatible....

If money is not an issue, then I would go all out for the Sony Clie...they're hot!! But if money is an issue, just get a good 'ol Visor...they're going cheap now! Hope this helps.

thanks folks, he got home this evening and decided he wanted a PDA for tommorow so we just went out and bought an IPaq 3700, i havent had time to mess with it yet :(

Jooney - He had a conference at the World Trade Towers and was staying in the hotel between them so when they evacuated the conference all his stuff was destroyed in the hotel.

Thanks again,
Tristan

I have the Kyocera 6035. It really is nice. Although, Sprint is not the best. Holds more info than you will ever need. I just put over 500 Clients in mine with name, phone and address and it's only 4% full.

Palm - Sony Clie series

Pocket PC - ...all of them look pretty good to me except the Casio. Damn thing has features but it's a BRICK.
