what's the best NON FPS / RPG game out now?

i can't do those FPS type games. they make me dizzy. the last game i really enjoyed was StarCraft and BroodWars.

so what's a good modern game for someone like me?
 
yeah im getting sick of the FPS type RPG games. what happened to the oldschool FF6 type? i enjoy those.

one game i've heard good things about that i'm a bit interested in is Star Wars: Knights of the Republic.

Yeah, great game, but it falls under the RPG category.
 
that depends what you want...if you like the RTS thing....

Command and COnquer are very good games..cant go wrong with teh classic REd Alert lol...

Civ series is one hell of a game if you like the strat stuff..

Longest Journey - A good game if you want to follow a really good story and be invovled..its a move your guy and click kind of game.

Monkey Island - A very funny move yoru guy and click kind of game...

If normal FPS bore you go for some good flight sims like...Freespace or something....

Everquest and those kind of games are very good also....Addictive tho...

Rise of nations...very good RTS

Age of Empires...everyone seems to like

Myst - If you like to think....A LOT

Diablo 2 - very good

but it's not really the FPS perspective right?? i got the impression that it was more like the Diablo type perspective. btw, i did play diablo I and diablo II (what a waste).
 
STar wars knigts of the old republic is a VERY good game.

if u like tha tyou should try Morrow wind..kinda easy but very good.
 
the Total War games were good. For mindless party fun on the Xbox pick up a copy of Totaled. Should be pretty cheap too.

Rise of Nations is not a RPG....it's a RTS.
 
Most big games made now adays are FPS......i can understand why you get tired of them..we all need to take a break sometimes....


take a break now...so you can fully enjoy HL2 and DOom3
