Looks as if the MSI 6370 655 Max-FISR SiS 655 at www.atacom.com, first listing I've seen, eagerly waiting for it to arrive up here, dealer says within two weeks :-(

I have the Gigabyte SQ800 and I think it's great - traded in my 8INXP and couldn't be happier - especially since it was $150 cheaper and doesn't cause problems w/ my 9700 Pro the way E7205 did...

Does anyone know where to get the Gigabyte SQ800 ULTRA and not the ULTRA 2? It has a nice mix of options between the plain Gigabyte SQ800 and the Gigabyte SQ800 ULTRA2.
Second, has anyone seen the MSI 655 MAX anywhere but ATACOM? They want to charge me $55 for second day FedEx shipping to here in Alaska and it shouldn't cost that much unless they are putting lead weights in. :disgust: DOESN'T ANYONE USE USPS DOWN THERE? BAH!!!

Tip: You don't know hell till you try to get something shipped and the cheap way is twice the price of what is being shipped!!!

From a recent review at GamePC.com, I understood that all retail boards are B0 stepping which support HT and that the A0 stepping were enginnering samples. I am inclined to believe what was said since the guy running the site is a reseller himself.

Yeah, I wouldn't think if they were samples that they would have enough to be able to sell them enmasse. Strange they say they wont run HT? I was holding off till the B stepping version was out due to their note.

TECHNONUT, did you get your A stepping from knowledgemicro?

maybe Ill get the A version then, we will see what my patience will do.

No, I purchased it from Newegg. Even though it is a fast board and HT works, I probably will RMA it for a B0 stepping. Gigabyte addressed by the A0/HT issue by: (From Notification included with the SINXP)
Please be noticed the following circumstance when Intel P4 Processor with Hyper-Threading Technology is applied and enabled.

1. Do not support EasyTune 4, @BIOS, Q-Flash, DMI Information Viewer, and Facewizard (Which are value-added software developed by Gigabyte)
