whats the best map to learn cs on?

I mean, i once had it all....the good aim, the 2:1 killie ratio, but the last time i played was in the days of cs 1.0. Whats a good map to practice on and get it all back?

most people play dust, its a nice simple map to get your bearings back.....after that graduate on to dust2, aztec, inferno, train...and then on to cobble and the league maps..

Dust seems pretty popular..

You should learn basics and stuff, any map will do. It's learning maps that gives you the edge after you learn how to shoot, buy equip quickly, use grenades to your advantage, etc..

yeah dust is good, just not somethign like iceworld which isnt really cs, its just like give everyone any weapon a tiny map and see who shots first... and dont try learning on assault, at least not original assualt. its very hard for the CT.

Where does one get all these maps you speak of? I can't for the life of me wait until CS downloads the maps cuz it sure takes forever and ten days.

most of the ones i listed are default CS maps that come with CS itself.

That would be TOO EASY to knife, and no one would use the slicing anymore. Keep it 2 stabs.

I get about 1 knife kill every 5-10 minutes, so I would know.

well the riot shield limits you to using a pistol I think...so I doubt you can use the knife with it. But it will be cool if you could bludgeon someone to death with it. Or knock them on their ass then st@b them while their down.
