First of all lemme just say a bit about beer. My two favorite beers are Guinness and Heineken. They are truly delicious. My god what I wouldn't give to be sitting in a pub in ireland right now getting completely shitfaced on pint after pint of that sweet black nectar, and secondly when i was in Vegas I could not get enough of Heineken. I could not believe how tasty the stuff was. It was one dollar a bottle at a few different casinos and was extremely fresh due to the fact they were selling a rediculous amount.
However here at home when I step into a local bar and order either, I am extremely dissapointed by the fact that the 6.50 a can Guinness and 5.50 a bottle Heineken, I almost want to spew because they have been sitting around way too long and taste terrible.
Budweiser on the other hand never lets down and is always fresh and always tastes the same. Give me a fresh Budwieser/Bud Light over some overpriced import sitting on the shelf too long.

Bleh......still have to say Amstel light :)

Who cares! After you drink enough of the stuff, I bet you can't even tell whether you are drinking water or beer. So if you are just out to get drunk, get as much beer as you can for the cheapest price and get silly drunk.

Never saw the point of lite beer. Its the carbs in beer that makes you fat not the calories.

Um......carbs are calories. 4 per gram to be exact. Alcohol is also a calorie source in beer, that's why non-alcoholic brews only have like 60 kcal per bottle; carbs only...no alcohol.

EDIT- check out this chart. Notice how the (grams of carbs) * (4) doesn't equal the total number of calories in the beer? The difference is primarily made up by the calories in the alcohol.
