I currently have the Altec Lansing ACS54 speakers. I kinda like them, but I want some more BOOM with my games. I was looking around and the Klipsch Speakers with the 4 speakers caught my eye. I am willing to spend up to about $350 on speakers. Just tell me which ones you all think are the best. I want some that are good for music as well as gaming. Thanks. Also, I have the Diamond MX400 sound card and the Pioneer 16X slot load DVD. I may get a new sound card if I need a better one for nicer speakers.

I currently have the Klipsch 4.1 speaker set, and they're absolutely awesome. If you're in the market for a good set of speakers, I'd highly recommend the Klipsch.

Around the forums it's been the general opinion that if you want boom and big bass in your computer speakers, that klipsch is your best bet. If you want a musical speaker with good midrange and balance, then go with the Boston Acoustics BA4800.

Seeing that you want "some more BOOM" with your games, I suggest you go with the Klipsch.

While I like the sound quality of the BAs more than the Klipsch, IMO they're so ugly!

Any prettier speakers w/ the "oomph" of the Klipsch and a high quality midrange?

Absolutely no doubt about it, Diamond S2 4100s.
define 'The Best Kind'. to my ears S2 4100s sound clearest and most balanced with right amound of highs, mids and lows.
