I would totally love to be a mattress tester.

My day job would be something awesome, like hanging out at the beach all day.

Security Guard

I went to Target the other day...and nearly broke the security guard in half! Well, not really...but he was the skinniest teenager I had ever seen...(And his glasses where taped together.)

The only problem, in terms of laziness, is that I think he has to stand up all day...instead of sitting on his ass.

/me thinks of the Seinfeld where George buys the security guard a chair

Too bad for you, I just got a raise. I now have more lint in my pockets. ;)

It depends. lazy like a fox? or just dumb lazy?

If you're smart but lazy (read: full of "potential" - you know who you are), then there's a ton of jobs out there. just plain lazy though, that's a tough one.

I'll see your pocket lint and raise you some belly button lint.

Back in the 70's, we had a neighbor that worked for Sealy-Posturpedic, and he was a "mattress tester". He'd go to work at 10pm, get wired up to the sensors, then go to sleep. Get up at 6 am and go home. He was actually paid very well for that. He said he was the perfect example of the average American.....and that's what they wanted.

Bob

^^ I think we have a winner. No job could be better for a lazy person than to be paid for sleeping.

I was scrolling down to put sleeping in and saw that someone beat me to it. Guy at college got a job testing beds and I think he was getting like 50k this was 10 years ago.

Has to be the winner:)

I'm pretty sure the people working at head shops are stoned 24/7, using their products for "tobacco use only." :p
