whats the best high end gaming keyboard

Looking for a good keyboard for gaming, I play alot of MMORPG's and Shooters just wondering what you all are useing.

The best is purely opinion. Different people look for different things from their keyboard. I personally only use IBM Model M keyboards with a Dvorak software overlay.


I absolutely hate "membrane style" keyboards. I used to have an old Hitachi keyboard that I liked a lot too, but it's been gone for about 10 years.


EDIT: as far as gaming goes, I mostly play WoW and Battlefield 2, but I've been using a Model M or some form of mechanical keyboard since I touched my first PC in the late 80s. (Well, technically, probably since 1984 when my Father bought an Apple 2e. As the keyboard for it was machanical as well.)

Yea, the zboard is pretty cool ... I could NEVER get used to one, but one of the guys in the office has one and he does pretty well with it in BF2.

No stupid windows key to hit by mistake to send you to the desktop
No useless buttons
Cannot be destroyed, to my knowledge, I am the only one that has broken one.
If only they had a USB one for my notebook , I hate mush boards.

I want the saitek eclipse but currently usinf Saitek Gamers Keyboard with 9 keys FPS pad (for sale btw) you can programm your keyboard for each game as well.
