I priced out a Alienware-equivelent on newegg, and it was $1,500 cheaper building it yourself ($3,500 at alienware).

custom built > alienware/falcon. use the extra $$ to make your comp even faster than their's :)

Falcon and VoodooPC do go the extra mile when building a machine, and I'm willing to bet you'd love the system you bought from one of them. But I'd still build a desktop myself, its just more fun. :)
