coolest gun ever in blackinches opinion is the rail gun in eraser. the nail grenade in eraser was pretty sweet as well.

I was a Jawa Jedi tinkerer in a Star Wars RPG, over the course of a year, I developed a lightsaber that could fire the beam... with certain limitations.

I could never figure out why if you had a stable plasma fixed length beam, you couldn't do something to fire it off, if you wanted. Would make the lightsabers a lot crazier...

Black Mask (Jet Li Hong Kong action pic) had some decent railgun scenes at the end, though a little lower budget than Eraser. Still much cooler than the pitiful Quake3 "railgun" with no vapor rings :|
