Make? Only a fool thinks you can make money gambling. How you think they pay off these billion dollar casinos in a year? Craps has the best odds though 47% followed by blackjack 45% then roulette 43%.

Wrong! Blackjack has a 49.5% odds if you follow the basic strategy.

Single-deck blackjack.

😀

Blackjack is the best. Get a little computer game and just practice practice practice. Its easy to walk away with a lot of bank once you learn when to hit and when to stand.

Just don't play it in Vegas or you'll end up spending all your winnings on cheap strippers and booze.... but thats another story.

There was a story about a team from MIT who would play blackjack together and mastered it and card counting. They'd go to casinos and cleam them out. linked

You can win if you're good enough.

I don't know hwere you're getting your information but please do tell. Highest odds I've ever seen for black jack is 45%, but most are lower.Text

What those guys did still call cheating, because they signal the highrollers to play when the shoes are hot.

Craps is the ONLY casino game where you can make a bet where the payout is equal to the risk i.e. true odds

black jack if you learn how to count cards really well, and if you don't get kicked out/blacklisted by every casino

video poker if you find the right machine (something like 102% payout)

poker since you're playing against other people

I agree with this. Although someone earlier said "No Limit holdem." I am going to respectively disagree with this one. DO NOT play no limit holdem unless you seriously understand what you are doing.

Counting cards is impossible now, because they play with like 8 Decks mixed together, and they constantly change them out.

I have seen 3 of the same card show up on one round of black jack. Count that?

49.5% is a widely known figure for a person that follows basic strategy when playing blackjack. Since you asked for a link, here is one, first entry on google when you type in "49.5% blackjack odds".

From the site:

For Basic strategy player:

Probability to bust: 17%
Odds to bust: 1 in 5.88
Probability to win: 49.5%
Odds to win: 1 in 2.02

btw, basic strategy is that little chart you can find on almost every blackjack site.

ya, pretty much. you might find tables with a lower number of decks in the crapper casinos, though.

lowtech:
I don't think signalling your buddies to come play when the table is hot is cheating. The men in black suits might take you out back and beat the crap out of you, but it's still not illegal or anything.

odds are against you in any game in the casino i think, but i always hear how blackjack is supposed to have the best odds for the player

so blackjack probably.. or poker if you are good at it and dont mind the house taking some of every pot

Sports betting

I win all the time, betting on college and pro football games... I made about a 100 bucks last night, because I knew LSU would win or at least lose by less than the spread... I think slots are rigged and aren't worth anyones time, but if you are going to go to a casino, blackjack is what i would recommend. I use allpro.com to bet on my sports though, and they have been great with there customer service and easy payouts.

no. Blackjack actually is in the player's favor as long as they play correctly. Methods such as high-low card counting combined with Basic Strategy and a bit of card tracking (which is hard to learn) enormously tilt the odds in favor of the player. Counting, while not illegal (Nevada gaming commission defines cheating as altering the outcome of the game or using a device like a calculator), usually will get you removed from a casino. Don't think that just because dealers use multiple decks that card counting is impossible. In fact, the strategy works pretty much the same. Only autoshuffles really mess things up.

If the casino you go to has a sports book horse racing is about the most lucrative way to make some easy money and take a long time to loose that much.
If you get into it you can do the complicated trifectas, superfectas, etc...but if you just play win/place/show bets and possibly daily double things (where you bet on the horses to finish first in two consecutive races) its only $2 a bet and so your really not loosing that bet. For a usual sure fire win of your money back bet on the favorite for show in each race...you win your $2 back and some change at least usually 😀
