I use Alzip as it was in the sticky and I have not had any problems with it. It supports a lot of different file formats.

The freeware, opensource, bloatfree 7-Zip maybe what you are looking for.

Supported formats: 7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, Z, TAR, CPIO, RPM and DEB

One of the many great freeware applications from the community at sourceforge.net

I like 7-zip, except that it doesn't support drag&drop. The other one I use is ZipGenius which seems to work very well also.

I'll 2nd ZipGenius. It's just as intuitive as WinZip, looks similar and supports a ton of different formats, including zip, rar and ace. :D

Agreed. Great tool. I use it for ALL my compression needs, even for .zip files.
