I'm looking for a new game to play so I thought about playing a free MMORPG, please tell me why you like a certain one and list the pros and cons if possible so I can check it out.

Guild Wars IS NOT AN MMORPG. At best its comparable to having gamespy built in. Its nice but its just not an MMORPG. There is little if any persitance in the game that Half-Life 2 mods don't have :psyduck: That said it is a very nice game.

Silk Road is a decent free MMO.

i think a better question is "which is the least sucky free mmorpg?" because every free mmorpg sucks

Correct me if I am wrong, but do not most 'free' mmorpgs make you pay for weapons and armor and the such, making not exactly 'free'???

some have that option but you can still get other weapons and armor off monsters or at shops.

Lunia is great it has many of the qualities of a typical asian MMORPG but uses a fighting system similare to console fighting games it's very fun.

free version of Anarchy Online is very nice, although you'll likely get sucked into buying the real version and then quitting because you lose your life :(

Lol :D

That's part of what makes finding a good MMORPG hard, I don't want to play one that seems more like a job than a game. Not that I have a problem accomplishing tasks within a game but you get the point.
