Sorry, just another sarcastic quip.

I tried going the free route for a couple months, but I hated the ads. They'd cause conflicts with UT, and were slow as 80w-90 gear oil. The 1st Up providers (Alta Vista, Excite, Etc.) were best overall IMO, then NetZero. I hear 1st Up is out of business now. I'd rather pay for better service.

I use netzero, sorta stupid 40 hoours limit thingy but understandable. Couldn't leech off them forever, lol.
