i had the IROCK but the battery life was bad and i eventually lost it....my friend has the ITRIP but in his car it comes in all staticy and i don't want that...the thing that is most important to me is clear sound and decent battery

so what do you reccomend that I buy?

I've got a little FM transmitter from Belkin that I use. Signal quality isn't bad for being an FM tuner. Battery life is okay at around 10 hours for 2 AAA's or you can use the included accessory power adapter.

It's got a fully adjustable tuner that comes in handy for areas that have a ton of stations.

Not bad for $30.

I heard that the quality is not good using the FM transmitter..

I heard that cassette adapter is better..
