Wanted to know what anybody thinks is the best FireWire/Video Editing Hardware/Software bundle out there.
Some I am considering are Pinnacle Systems, Dazzle, and Adobe bundles.

Thanks for the input

Pinnicle seems good to me. But then again, I haven't tried firewire at all.

I bought this bundle last year:

Then it came with MS Pro 6.0. I upgraded to 6.5 for $59.

Hope that helps.

I went for the Pyro Platinum bundle myself.

If you can get your hands on Adobe Premiere for cheap then any decent firewire card should do. There are a few decent freeware programs out there for video capture and some basic editing. Virtualdub and Microsoft's Media Encoder are two examples. I still prefer Premiere though for it's advanced editing tools.

I am happy with my Pinnacle Studio DV 7.0 package. It's a basic package for a home user. Simple software. I paid $90 at buy.com.

Pinnacle Studio DV for me. I Like the color of the card too (red). ;)
