what's the best DVD player to buy?

h/k (harman kardon) dvd22... i acutally opened mine last night... its very nice... its also on sale @ cc this week... around $175.

bump i want to watch this also.

I have an old DVD player that can only play DVD's nothign else.

I need one that can play all DVD formats and CD's and mp3's and picture and video cd's etc.

and if its got one of those memory cards slots cool.

i got a cheap-o 50 dollar player at walmart. optimum dvd i think it's called. I'm happy with it. even plays vcds, mp3s, and has a viewer for jpg photos....

that plus my nero makes for a good time in the heezy....

Camelot Technology Round Table @ $3,995, Ayre D-1, Linn Unidisk, Lexicon RT10. These are all incredibly expensive but they're supposed to be the best of the best.

On the lower end, Denon and Pioneer Elite are nice.

The best dvd player/any product is the one that combines the best quality/value/features for the most affordable/lowest/cheapest price.😎

I agree. Who knows if the current DVD format will be around for another year, let alone more. They are really ramping up to bring in the new type of lasers or whatever it is.

i got the phillips 642, its a good player. it plays most everything i throw at it, unless it was encoded in something weird. also converts pal to ntsc without a hitch, so it truely is region free.
