whats the best dvd burning ap for avi and mpgs?

If you aren't concerned about menus etc., use DVDSanta or WinAVI.

Those are the two i've used for converting video files to DVD.

To make actual DVD movies, the video has to be MPEG2. A lot of programs will convert them for you as necessary, but be prepared to wait.

AFAIK, yes.

They have 30 day available trials IIRC.
