im sorda pimpin out my pc one or 2 steps at a time.. i ordered a tyan tiger 100 (for a great price) but i when i looked deeper into it it was only ata/33 (its for sale if anyone is interested)... my current plan is to get the tyan tiger 133.. i would rather have a stable set up then o/c.. so o/c limitations is not an issue.. i guess im just lookin for feed back on the tiger 133.. and suggestions on a better board if one exists.

btw. this is my first post.. woo hoo.. feel privildged to witness this momentus event.

well it depends how much you want to spend, also you can always add a promise ata/66 card to it if you need. look at a thread in general hardware, but asus has many dual based boards, most will have scsi on-board or nothing at all though for bx chipsets. I believe the dual via 133a are just getting stable like the tyan 133 rev.f but does not support registered dimms or ecc memory or the one that anandtech reviewed looks like a good board . check out www.2cpu.com and their forum for feedback

you should post in the fs/ft forum if you want to sell that board, unless you want to just give it to me :)

I'm using the Micro Star 694D w/Via133a. Had been running 2 600E at 830mhz with W2K for 2 days straight without any problem. Prime95 were also running with two instances plus 3dmark2000 looping all day. I got it from www.computer-etc.net for $215.00. They shipped through US Post Office with delivery confirmation(for tracking)for $15.00.
Hope it helps you to make the move.
