Not sure on Win2000. But, I would suggest that Det 6.31's would be the best bet. However, as you know you might have to try different drivers to find the right one. Trial and error!
I'm not a nVidia user (well actually I own a Voodoo3 so I guess technically I am now hehehe) but from what I've heard the 7.xx Dets are pretty buggy...stick to the newest offical 6.xx and I think you'll be better off.
Det 7.xx have been leaked to make use of the recent DirectX8. The 7.17 drivers sent my system stupid when I was running DX8 and I had to reinstall to get stability back. I don't think it was DX8 that caused the problem but the Detonator drivers.
For Win9x most ppl have had best performance/quality with the 6.31's. I'm running 6.47 and have not had a problem albeit they are very slightly slower than the 6.31
Win 98 stability probably goes to the 5.22. Never had a problem with 'em. The 6.31s gave me grief and I'm now fiddling with the 6.34s which seem to be more stable than the 6.31s but still less stable than the 5.22s. The 6.xx series is generally faster which is why I'm using 'em.
i use the 6.49 and havent had any problems w/ Win2k. I have run them on both 2k professional and now on Advanced Server... not a single hitch... well aside from the dark q3a... but that may not be a problem that drivers can fix...
