Im almost there...just a few parts to go, and I was hoping for some input as to what RAM I should use!

I have a new Soyo Dragon 2 (P4i875P) mobo, and a P4 2.6 with HT to go in it.

Now, im not too sure if I will keep it overclocked or not, but would like the flexibility to do so. I am looking at adding 512mb OCZ Dual Channel EL DDR4000 Gold. I will probably go with dual channel wether I purchase 3200 or 4000. Another question is, the place where I plan to buy the RAM lists the dual channel and overclocking DDR seperately...if the RAM is DDR4000, does it matter if its dual channel or specifically for overclocking?

My current rig uses RDRAM PC800, so I am still unfamiliar with DDR, even though I buit a few systems for some friends with DDR2700 and the likes...

I appreciate any comments!

These should help you out. RAM isn't designed for dual channel, that is based on motherboard. But for dual channel you need 2 sticks.

If you plan on overclocking extensively, you will need the 4000 to maintain 1:1 ratio. Otherwise, go with the 3200.

I'd go with GEIL. When I had just 2x256MB sticks of the stuff I could go to 400MHz at 5-2-2-2.0 timings but when I put in another 512MB stick (Corsair: the expensive stuff) I had to relax memory timings to 7-3-3.2.0. Go with GEIL!!!:)
