I have three computers that I can run DC projects on, I would lkem to keep all three boxes on the same project.

Mine: 2.26GHZ P4 (northwood) 512MB PC-1-866 RAMBUS........... on a 3000/768 ADSL line

Moms: P4 1.7GHZ 256MB PC-2100 DDR ........ Dialup

Cousin: P4 2.0GHZ 256MB PC-2100 DDR.........Dialup

I have all of the on SoB right now but only my system is uploading results, I don't know why the other two are not, they were both on-line for a while last night. So I need a project the will cache results until they get on-line. BTW Seti is out of the question

distributed folding will cache results almost as long as you need to (see sig for FAQ), every 3-10 weeks the protein being examined is changed and results have to be returned within 24 hours of changing to the new protein

so DF is very "offline" or "sneakernet" friendly

rc5-72 is also a choice. And you probably won't have to worry about the project ending before you send in your work units.

I would like to do DF but it wouild be impossible for me to move up in the ranks, I'll only put out about 1.1 million daily with all three boxs. I'm running SoB now and I'm in 12th on our team. Also, DF will need to keep up the current production just to make 3rd by years end, we have a much better chance taking 1st in SoB.

If you do SETI, you'll be able to pass about a third of the participants by the time you complete your very FIRST work unit! :D How's that for climbling skills? :)

Seriously, with a program like SetiQueue or SetiDriver, you could cache a whole bunch of units and then just connect when you want to. :)
