What's The Best Data Recovery or Corrupt Drive Tool

I got the NexStar 2 External 3.5" Hard Drive Enclosure.

The first time I thought ok maybe I kicked it and didn't notice.

The second time I was not even using it! but it was plug in* XP pop up says

The G:\ hard drive is corrupt........ again Dam it:| What to do dont tell me fdisk:disgust:

I usually use Knoppix but I'm not sure if that would recognize the external drive.

I'd give easy recovery pro a try I've had a lot of luck with it and I think they provide a 30 day trail.

R-Studio from http://www.r-tt.com works well. And SpinRite from Gibson may help if the problem is caused by bad sector(s) - http://www.grc.com .
