I was thinking about getting one of those Milage card but its just not worth it.
You have to spend like $24K to get a round trip ticket and theres restrictions.

If you were to get 1% on $24K, thats $240 back. And you can get a round trip to alot of places without restriction.
Or spend it on other things 🙂

are there any advantages of the mbna amtrak card over the mbna world points card?

AMEX cash rebate card. I'm averaging 2% cash back through July, but then again I charge $4K-$7K a month.

I just activated my Chase Perfect Card VISA today for all the places that don't take AMEX.

I also have a AAA VISA tied to my Mobile Speedpass for 5% back on gasoline purchases.

I share my mom's MBNA Platinum Plus, I think the limit is somewhere around $16K. Since I'm just authorized to use it, I'm not building credit 🙁

My Fleet Titanium Visa SmartCard. Not a huge limit, but every dollar I spend earns one reward point. The stuff they have that you can redeem with the points doesn't suck,

The world points cancel out after 5 years.

The Amtrak points, when transferred to your United Airlines account, WON'T ever cancel as long as you put points onto United every 3 years--which should be easy as you can transfer points every year from Amtrak to United, like I do............If you choose Continental (which I wouldn't), points never expire.

AMtrak/United points are also much more valuable dollar wise. I've never had problems redeeming points with United. MBNA Worldpoints has dollar caps. So if you buy a tix over the cap limit, you'll have to cover the difference with your own money.

the best cc i have is the one with $30,000 limit with 7.9 apr but the best cc is the one my dad has, it's either 500,000 limit or unlimited don't remmber right now but i know its really high limit on that cc

I have 3 credit cards, which I think balance out one another well.

Citibank Dividends Card - 1% cashback baby!
AMEX Blue - chicks dig it, high limit, occasional cool promotions
and my Visa card with gives me 5% cashback (instantly) on Amazon.com purchases. (I only use this card to buy stuff at Amazon)
