What's the best course of action for a silverfish infestation?

My little sister's room has always had something of a silverfish problem, but now it's sprung into a full-blown infestation. Last night, I came home to find her sleeping on the floor of my room, scared sh!tless because one ran across her book when she was lying down in her room.

What's the best way to kill all of these little bastards?

I don't know for sure if this is the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if the silverfish are attracted by perfume. The same thing happens for me. The washroom gets silverfish because of moisture. But the only other room where silverfish are found is in my sister's room. Humidity is no different than any other bedroom, so I really wonder if they are attracted to perfume or not.

Silverfish are really only a problem in my room as well, and i'm the only female. Hmmm..
