When you plug your device into the computer, what folders do you see (from your computer browsing the device)? It doesn't have to be in a "Movies" folder specifically. Technically it can be in any folder, I just put mine in the Movies folder for organizational purposes.

Here are the screens that i see when I power on my Nexus 7

Uh, I was talking about plugging it into your computer and then drag/dropping the files over...

If you wanted to do it wirelessly, there's AirDroid, Dropbox... With Dropbox, you can either favorite stuff to view offline, or you can export which basically downloads the file to your tablet.

Those are the screens that I see when the Nexus is plugged into my PC ( and unplugged) ...is there something else that I should be seeing?

Yes, your computer. :p

Look at your computer, you'll see the Nexus in your list of drives. Open it and you'll see folders. Drag any videos into there and they will show up in media playing apps on the tablet.
