I'd like to hear your opinions as I'm about at my wits end with my ECS KS75A and may soon be looking for a replacement...

<< I prefer Epox whenever I'm using an AMD processor. >>

Yeah, for the new XP's, the Epox 8kha+ is a very good board...if you look around anandtech, you can find the review of it, which was very positive

FYI, according to Anand, Epox is coming out with another KT266A mobo, but he questions stability:

EPoX will also be releasing a new version of their KT266A motherboard called the EP-8KHA2. It has an added RAID controller and also a total of four DIMM slots instead of the three on the EP-8KHA+. We have yet to determine whether the board is stable with all slots populated, and whether there is a performance penalty seen in order to accommodate all four slots.

Here's a PIC of the board.

The only reason he question stability is because of Epox using 4 dimms and the memory timings need to be pretty much perfect.

by AMD based do you mean AMD chipset based? because that's what you are basically asking for.. if it's just AMD processor based system boards, then you have a TON of choices..

Even though I am not an Abit fan, it's hard to diss the Abit KG7 board... It looks like the best AMD based DDR board, if not the EpOX 8K7A.
