What's the average time a potential employer gets back to you?

Interviewed for a position on 12/4, sent a thank you email the next day and haven't heard back at all. Did I not get it? And I thought the interview went really well too. 🙁🙁

I usually give a week before I give up on the potential employer as serious to hire.

Strangely, all the jobs I been interviewing for, they all email me back quickly going "We decided not to hire for this position anymore..." Annoying, or the nice way to tell me that I stink.

I'm a beast so employers want me bad, I've always walked out of interviews knowing I got the job and I've always been officially told within a week.
It's in no way bad form to call back 10 or so days after the interview to ask how it went.
