Free? We have mostly snacks onsite: soda, water, crackers, snack bars, etc. Once or twice a week we order lunch for the whole office, free.

I guess it would depend on what I got (deli, grill, entree of the day, salad bar, etc...). I don't know what it costs b/c I bring my lunch.

Same price here. It seems reasonable until you take into account that it is in every conceivable way worse than any major fast food chain's food. Yet we give them the privilege to do business here because of some mafia-esque business practices.

It's free, but I don't really ever feel inclined to eat surrounded by hundreds of children, so I generally buy my own lunch from a fast food joint.

There are a bunch of restaurants on the ground floor of our building. Cheapest lunch is probably a slice of pizza and a drink for $4. Everything at Au Bon Pain is expensive and not filling... there's a Greek place that serves a lot of really crappy food... A place where you can get expensive ice cream... Oh and the classy bar where entrees start around $25.

If I'm forced to eat lunch at work, I'll go across the street and get a chicken wrap from this hole in the wall for $2.50.

I'd guess around $5-$7 depending on what I get. Today is was $6.12 for a grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms, peppers, and onions; fries; and a large drink.

normally we don't have an on site lunch but lately this summer our office (8 of us on second shift) grill out most nights. did swordfish tonight, cost us 7 bucks a head all together.

its a nice excuse for me to take an hour break to cook the office dinner. ( generally we work 8 hr shifts no break )

I think there are pretty good prices where I'm at.

For example I've been hitting the hell outta these deli sandwiches or subs (same price, same amount of food basically) which are stacked nicely with meat and only $2.92 after tax with chips and pickle. Add a 32oz pop and just over $4. The entree is about $5 which seems a little expensive compared to the rest but if its good I'll get it. The grill food is very reasonably priced, especially breakfast which of course is godly. The "homestyle" foods are in the middle.

The only office with a cafeteria is in Palo Alto. The food is very good there, and not that expensive compared to other places. When I was over there I would get a large grilled chicken sandwich and fries for about $5. Drinks are free.

In my office we don't have a full cafeteria, but they keep the fridges stocked enough to make a very good sandwich with a wide assortment of other things.

I still usually go to Sam's Club for a Pizza Combo @ $2.48 about twice a week.
