Some guys are into it for the physical attraction.
Other guys like them (if they are more traditional Japanese than not) because of the attitude difference. American women have distorted Feminism to the point that it no longer focuses on equality of both sexes (it's original intent) to now focusing on women getting all the privledges of equal rights but none of the responsibilities. Many American women are now raised to view men as nothing more than a paycheck that should be manipulated and used however they deem appropriate. American men that realize this are turned off by it and look elsewhere in the world to women that really do know the value of having two roles in a relationship and equality where both sexes help and support the other.

Bitter and cynical though a lot of that may be, some of it is also 100% true.
At least in the UK, and in most of Europe they have Male Advocacy groups too. To help when men are ruthlessly slaughtered in court after a divorce, only to be left living paycheck to paycheck, barely meeting ends, or never to see his own kids again. In America, the number of stories I have heard make me deathly afraid of marriage. And thats just from people I know personally.
And then people say "Get a pre-nup, duh, solves all the misgivings you may have." Which is simply not true. Read more on pre-nup's and you will see. They usually have a set time period, they only work with income and assets, NOT the children after the divorce, and you can find a lot of cases where the pre-nup is over turned by the divorce court judge, and made essentially null. Not to mention the explantions you need to give your soon to be fiance on why you would need one. I have yet to meet a single girl who says she would willingly sign a pre-nup, and understands the reasoning why a man would want one.
