What's the absolute best Playstation emulator out there?

Commercial or shareware, I need an emulator.
I don't want to have to make an image of the game disc, so I'm looking for an emulator that will let me just stick the game disc in my CDROM and go. (i.e. totally legal:))

I have no education on this matter, so tell me, what's the best? I'm looking especially for controller (joystick/gamepad) support and speed.

both bleem and connectix virtual game station allow you to run games right from your cd-rom... as to which is better... it's debatable, i prefer bleem, but some would say virtual game station. Either way you'll be satisfied though... so pick onna those two up...

None, as of all PS games suck and Square screwed up bad with the PS FF series. You are allowed maybe FF Anthology, that's it. Anymore would require request to play form, reviewed by a panel of Nintendo zealots, and either approved or disapproved for use in any part of your life other than coaster or clay pidgeon. :p

I have Bleem, but I never use it. If you want the CD key, let me know. I'll sell it cheap.

Bleem! works fine with copied disks, at least it did the last time I tried it :)
And with a bit of intuitive (sp?) searching on the web, a cd-key should turn up ;)

The Bleem CD key is an actual CD that you have to have to start the program, so unless you find an iso of it, or a hacked executable, I don't see any way around it.

After seeing both Bleem! and the Virtual Game Station in action, my vote would go for the Virtual Game Station.
