What's that free antivirus program?

I can't find the thread I'm thinking of, with links to some free AV programs. My niece has no antivirus, and her computer is in bad shape. I'm trying to clean it up right now.
 
Well, I installed AVG on my niece's (I am back at home now), so I'll try Panda on my mom's. 😛

Thanks guys. It's always disconcerting trying to fix someone else's computer with a bunch of stuff going on (there were a lot of people over there). I could hardly concentrate enough to search threads for the one I wanted, in which both AVG and Panda were linked.
