Whats Spanish food like?

Im curious as to what Spanish food is like. This will be my first trip to Europe and was curious. I will find out soon enough because my plane leaves this afternoon.

Lots of pork: ham and the like. Very good all round I've heard.

Most food in europe is good.

no tortillas, well, i think they do, but they're completely different from the ones we have in the U.S.

aside from that, I can't help much. have fun!

i hate it, went to a place called tasca brava yesterday, tapas, wasnt good and was expensive, enpinadas are ghey, like half a hot pocket and aioli is gross, kalamari is decent but bleh, i dont like spanish cuisine.

I dont like it.

One of the main dishes is Paella, which is a cacerole with Shrimp, pork, crab and rice. I dont like seafood very much and hence I dislike paella. :thumbsdown:

Many people do love it, though.

Seafood is in.. Tapas is in.. make sure to get some sangria (however that is spelled)

paella (squid salad or some crap like that) Blahhh

They love salt cured Meats..

My Visit to Spain was great.. Took train to Rome from Spain.

It's kind of spicy, lots of paprika, sausages, garlic seafood and beef. The Tapas are lots of different specialities, can be really good. I like the spanish kitchen.

Many of their dishes consist of fried llama brains, broiled cat tails, dog noses, and horse ears.
