I had a giant martini glass and shaker tin at my old job. I made a half bottle of cherry vodka and 4 cans of redbull into a giant 8 person cherry bomb.

meat grinder

I was so excited to start grinding my own meat for chili and meatballs, but I've used the thing once in the past year+ that I've had it.

also, a steamer... I may just throw that fucker out. it was given to me as a gift, but I'd just as soon use a steam basket in a regular old pan than a dedicated special appliance.

you are way too late. somewhere around here is a massively expensive EDO memory stick that was made into a keychain. who's going to want a computer from 1999?
Well they're not truly next to worthless yet. I still see motherboards of this vintage going for $20 ~ $30 on Ebay. And I didn't pay like $70 for any of them. They were all killer combo deals with rebates that I jumped on.

I have an old navigational compass that I picked up at a garage sale.

As far as I can tell, it was made for M4 Tanks, then the extras got surplussed for marine use in the 60s

4 fiber channel IBM SAN enclosures. They work, the drives show up individually on the computer that I connect it to which is awesome, but they're proprietary, can't put my own drives, so I don't really depend on it for anything crucial. I have an old backup of my entire network on there dating from like 2011. Should probably fire it up and run it again. All 4 enclosures use a good 900w of power.

Also have a McData switch to go with it. It's sad to think all this stuff was once worth 100's of thousands, and now I can't even give it away. :p It was cool at first, but now it just takes up lot of space in my rack.

Dictionary/Thesaurus. I just can't throw them away even though they're useless today.

Everyone works and learns differently. Sometimes in the rush to be more 'efficient' the value of the thought process is ignored. I find Dictionaries/Thesauruses provide the time for inspiration.

I have a Wii that rarely sees use.

Softmod that thing and install WiiMC and you have a light home media center that can play back music/video to an analogue TV. (Component looks comparable to HDMI at small screen sizes)

Neat thread. Useless computer junk that I can't bring myself to throw away.

I've got a pair of circular kitchen utensils that makes Egg McMuffin style eggs. After 2 uses I decided it was easier to go buy the real thing from McDonalds.

Not here, but rusting somewhere in my parents house... an actual, full sized, stop sign
