What's some good running music?

I've started running, and I'm looking for music with a good beat to keep me in stride. I've got some basic rap. Any specific suggestions?

Meh, I just use what I like to listen to, the more upbeat stuff of course. I don't find that music helps to keep me in stride, it just helps to pass the time on the treadmill (along with the mini-tv in front of the treadmill).

the soundtrack to run, lola, run. she spent a good 45 minutes of that movie at full sprint.

i'd say the soundtrack to judgement night, also. rap/alternative mix gets the juices flowing.

oooo... or pearl jam vs.

IT'S MY BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1
Most trance music is around 140bpm - which is perfect cause my strides stay in synch w/ the beat when I'm running at 7mph on the treadmill.

My fav. song for working out right now is 'Running down a dream' by TP&TH

Also 'The Decline' by NOFX is great because by the time it's over 17 minutes have passed.

A good all around band for running is ACDC

I used to have the soundtrack to the movie "Dragon" (the Bruce Lee story). Some of the songs in there really gets me pumped up.

I'd say anything you like to listen to, I've jog with music from Regina Spektor to Pantera, doesn't really matter as long as I like the tunes.
