From what I've read in the Maximum PC issue I received yesterday, heat is almost nil.
Their testing involved some full load dvd encoding using Nero Recode. They had a Zalman 9500 and unplugged the fan. During this dvd encoding the temps only rose 3 degree's C. After the testing, the machine was still used without the Zalman cpu fan plugged in.
