These are goals that I established at a teen. Some are stupid, some I'm still working on:

"Date" a woman of every race: failed (didn't even make it halfway, but at least I tried!)
Graduate college: Check
Get married: Check
Have at least 2 kids: (almost) halfway there! 1st child due July 5th!
Scuba dive in the tropics: Check! (I saw an octopus!)

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life career-wise, and being in IT now, I still don't! :) But, so far, not so bad!

1. Enlist in army.

Ya, that's about it... nothing else has really qualified as a life goal. I just make spontaneous short-term, but big goals. Like for this summer, get a cell phone, a new job and motorcycle license. Rest of the year, it's just "try not to f**k it up" concerning school. There goes half my life...

(In descending priority)
Find a guy to love and with which to have a rLTR
Obtain and maintain a job that I love, regardless of pay
Build a house at the highest peak of the highest hill on one of my family's farms (land, check. architect's plans, check. money with which to build said house... within 5-10 years)

That's it. I've had the same goals for quite a few years.

3. Grow a lemon tree
4. Buy a Continental GT
5. Go back to house I grew up in and get back the maple tree we planted.
6. Do something to help birds

Easy enough, I have one growing in a pot that we get lemons off of every year. I also have a Key Lime growing in a pot as well that I brought back from the Keys in 1990.

Ahh... I just remember one of my dopey teenage life goals.

Compete in a martial arts tourney.

Not win, just compete! At a reasonably competent level...

However, I've only earned a yellow belt in TawKwonDo at age 34... And I got that 10 years ago... Argh!

great fun tho! If you're looking for a fun way to exercise, martial arts is the way to go!

1. Make a List---Done
2. Marriage, House, Kids, JD, yada, yada,yada---done
3. Work for Myself--trying really hard
4. 3000 Posts---maybe within 5 years
5. Buy a new exotic sports car--(I have to ask the wife before I can answer)
6. Make a comfortable enough living so my wife no longer has to worry about laboring away and being forced to make some use of her multiple Masters degrees so she can stay home and watch the kids and if there is any spare moment to actually replace the broken light bulb in the oven that is being ignored because the last time we cooked any dinner was about 3 years ago.
