    Nice black belt
    Nice brown belt and dress shoes to match
    A suit
    Anything off of here
    Textbooks for the coming quarter: That being, Game Theory for Applied Economists (Gibbons), Introduction to Taxation (Rice).
    Some Laphroaig 10YO Scotch
    A little Gentleman Jack

With all that being said, I wouldn't mind just a little bit of money, most of which I'd stick into savings for June. I do need a suit and some "adult" clothes, so I figure it's easiest to ask my family for those types of gifts, especially my dad and granddad.
 
Like every year, my wife and I are going to Las Vegas for the week of Christmas, so we agreed to limit our spending on presents so we could spend our money gambling.

That said, here is my list:

Spiderman 2
Star Wars Trilogy
Some new workout clothes

Nothing. Hell, my birthday was friday and I didn't get anything at all from my family.

I'd like some new belts and a pair of comfortable black shoes. And some new pants, I don't have enough pants.
 
1. electric razor (I bought the Panasonic 8152 yesterday at Best Buy)
2. Half-Life 2 (also bought this yesterday, heh)

5. And maybe the DVD burner that I got Black Friday

This year, it's pretty much shop for yourself and be reimbursed. My mom is usually the one that does the Christmas shopping but she had a stroke in September so she's not able to walk around and do a lot of shopping this year.

Ya, but she's doing a lot better. She's back to work now and she's able to go into stores and stuff for a little while. She gets tired pretty quickly, though. She's getting better. :thumbsup:

I'm glad to hear that. I've recently lost several family members due to heart attacks, and that is difficult. Hopefully she has a full recovery and regains her stamina.
