I'm encoding something, its hot as hell outside and all of sudden puter starts beeping...
like high pitched ...beep-beeep-beeep-beeep... can't really tell where its coming from.
somewhere on the mobo maybe...not on pc speaker...where else can audio liek this come out from?
is there any other tiny speakers anywhere else?

welp, opened up case and 10min later beep stopped.

heh, why is everyone so rough on this poor child...

when you encode something your computer needs more power, so what you need to do to make your beeps stop is to turn off your computer - turn your power supply switch to 230W instead of the reg 110.

that should fix it up!

Means that the hamster running on the wheel inside is out of food and water. You gotta feed it every now and then or your computer stops working -- easy to fix, just dump some seeds and water in through the fan duct and you'll be just fine.

You mean switch it to 220V instead of the 110V setting, right? 😛

Oh noes! I had the same problem and tried your solution. Now they are making baby hamsters and are taking over my subwoofer too :| How do I stop this? 🙁
