got an Epox 8KHA a couple of weeks ago...it comes with an 100mhz/133mhz jumper so you can set what the mobo defaults to. However, the BIOS also allows you to change the front side bus from 100-200mhz on either one of of the fsb jumper settings. I wanted to know what the PCI bus speed will be if by leaving the jumper at 100mhz and then changing the fsb to 133mhz in the BIOS? Would it be using the 1/3 clock divider or the 1/4 clock divider? Please advise on which software I can get to check out my PCI bus speed...thanks!

There should be an option somewhere in your BIOS to adjust the divider. If there's no option, then chances are it auto divides whatever the FSB is in a way where it'll always be 33. The only software i can think of off hand to check this is SiSoft Sandra. I'm not sure how well Sandra will report the PCI Clcok though. When I used the 2000 version there was something wrong with the way it interacted with via chipsets so it would report a PCI Clock of 66 MHz for me when it was really 33. I'm sure they've fixed this in the 2001 version (current version) but i haven't used it and can't say.

hmm can't seem to find the place where it tells you the PCI divider and bus speed...any other progs out there that would list the bus speed?
