Got a friend whos overclocking a coppermine celly (533) in a AOpen slocket card and he wants to hit 800. We have a Alpha PAL6035 and delta on it right now so cooling isn't much of an issue. But with 1.95vcore we can only get 760 stable. We are on a Soyo 6BA+IV. We also have a celly 700 we could use if it will work better. But primarily want a don't go past this voltage kind of recommendation.

TIA

Warren

..........edit...........
Happy news. He had the 533 for his system, but is building another system and had a 700 celeron, well first setting was to crank it to 100mhz and made that 700 a 1050. It is 100% stable (or at least so far, with Prime95 and madonion) on that setting at 1.80vcore. It even boots into Windows98 at 1102 but isn't completely stable. And its posting good numbers too. It was one of these........:D

Try a different slotket. I had one that would do the dance at 1.55volts, you are not going to get any more out of that chip ever with more voltage.

People always seem to brag about their MSI and Asus slotkets. PM Compuwiz1, he'll know.
