What's it take to get into HR?

I have a bachelor's degree in business management and business marketing.

I've always wanted to get into Human Resources, but by the time I realized it, I didn't want to take all the classes associated with it and graduate late.

The Marketing industry is rough right now, but as of late I was wanting to get back into HR. Thing is, when I look at these jobs they require certifications etc. etc.

Is it possible for me to land like an entry level or lower level job in HR with my bachelor's or should I just stop wasting my time and quit dreaming?

1) Marketing
2) Training and Development
3) HR
4) Accounting

I'm an HR Manager. Been working in HR for almost 10 years. I starteda as an assistant since I had studied CS, but worked my way up with experience.

I think you have a good chance since you studied Business Management. You might not start as an assistant, but don't expect to start as a manager either. I'd also recomend obtaining certifications along the way, but I don't think it's required once you start getting the experience.

With the Fed Gov we look for education and exp for HR or with a degree like yours you can apply for HR assistant job and then after 1-2 years apply for a HR specialist.
