Every year I feel I'm "old" by this point..at 18 I'm legally an adult, at 19 I'm out of high school and into this ever changing college world, at 20 I'm no longer a "teenager", and at 21 I'm legally able to drink and gamble..and at 22, there's no more milestones really except 30/40, soo, what now?

Well, starting a career (if you havent already), finding a wife, finding a home, etc etc

There are a lot more milestones...

But I think a lot of people who are 22-24 are adults for all effective purposes.. I consider myself an adult, and have for at least a year or so.

Nothing beats getting married though.

22.....I'll be twenty three in may

It's all really dependant on who you are around and what your mindset.

Mine is a jumble of the immature and the mature, of thought and sloth, so sometimes I notice my age, and sometimes it really doesn't factor into what is happenign so I don't give it a second...hell...even a [first] thought

Those age milestones are artificial. You may not experience a huge difference between being 19 and 22. I recommend that you do not worry about how you should be feeling and just enjoy the ride.

After reading many of your posts, I assume you can look forward to puberty any day now.

Uh... getting a nice job, working your way up the chain? Maybe starting a ebay business on the side? Do what you want? Who cares? Get drunk and hit clubs and bars... look for a women who you can eventually trust... then the harder sh.t like bills, insurance, rent, saving, stuff like that.

What did you expect?

have real job, be a part of a real company, feel real important, get paid REAL money, really move out (sharing an apt for college is not moving out)

basically, be in the real world---the one that people told you about when you entered college

So you'd hope. I still find many people "my age" who are dumb as hell.

I have shoes older than you.
Heck i could be older than your parents. ;)

No more milestones? How about when you buy your first house?

Have a child, {if you are ever that lucky}
getting a good job, doing something you like.

Take a trip to go see someplace you always wanted to go to.

Many milestones ahead, many paths to choose...........
try to choose well.

Oh and start a retirement savings account, a little money each year
starting at 22 will mean a lot more at age 55-65 etc.

I should have saved from a young age. :(

I have been 22 for the past 3 months. To be honest I'm having the time of my life. All of my friends say they feel old, but I feel young as ever knowing how much my life is gonna change when I graduate college. My only milestone to reach is earning a million dollars. I want to do it by 30, so that is why i'm not focused at all on finding a wifey. If it happens in happens. Otherwise i'm just gonna live it up entourage style.

It's all relative. I'm older than you and I feel pretty young since I've taken up cycling again. In fact, I feel younger than I have in years.

Yeah def... in my mind I "feel" young, altough my body could be in a lot better shape. When that happens i will definately feel as young as i can.

BUt like i said... you're only as young as the people you're shaggin.
